This pendant is made with a glowing, saturated blue green color Amazonite cabochon that is a cushion cut square shape. I have bezel set the gemstone with fine silver around the stone and the rest is sterling silver. I have pierced out the back of the piece so it is super pretty front and back. This is a natural Brazilian Amazonite, . Fantastic cut and color – very gemmy! The Amazonite measures approximately 15 mm square. The loop at the top is about 3 mm so that adds a tiny bit. Total carat weight is 9.3 carats. If you have found me here on etsy then you know I love this color in gems – I have worked with Amazonite before but there seems to be a “new find” and the transparency and color is not like anything I’ve seen before.
